Emirates Transport celebrates the 50th anniversary of the country’s union

Emirates Transport (ET) celebrated the 50th UAE National Day in a ceremony held at the company’s head office in Dubai, and attended by 200 employees including ET’s senior executive management.

His Excellency Khaled Al Mansour, ET Managing Director, reaffirmed the deep meaning of this special day, saying: “This year, the celebration of the National Day of the United Arab Emirates has a special significance in all of our hearts. It is a celebration of fifty years full of great achievements.”

Al Mansour stressed that the prestigious position that the UAE occupies today in all fields and its prominent placements at the forefront of countries in the world in many different indicators is a firm affirmation that it is on the right path towards its original and lofty goals of providing a decent life for all citizens and residents.

Faryal Tawakul, Acting CEO of Emirates Transport, praised the success of the United Arab Emirates in completing five decades since its founding on December 2, 1971, establishing a unique federal model, asserting it was an exceptional achievement by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his brothers the founding leaders.

Tawakul emphasised the responsibility in supporting the gains and successes of the nation, defending its reputation and conveying its bright positive image to the rest of the world, which rests on the shoulders of every individual in our beloved country, each according to their position and role.

On this cherished national occasion; Emirates Transport offered its highest congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State (may God protect him), His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai (may God protect him), and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and their brothers Their Highnesses, members of the Supreme Council, the rulers of the Emirates, and the loyal Emirati people.

The celebration activities at ET took place in accordance with the latest health controls and requirements, such as observing social distancing and wearing masks. The events included traditional Emirati musical performances and cultural and historical competitions for attendees, in addition to offerings of food, drinks and traditional folk sweets.
